Sewing (On the spur of the moment) - Ραπτική (μια έμπνευση της στιγμής) -

Μια από τις πρώτες χειροκίνητες ραπτομηχανές. Δυστυχώς δε γνωρίζω από πότε χρονολογείται

One of the first mamual sewing machines.  Unfortunately, I do not know since when it is dated.

Πάντα σκεφτόμουν ότι θα ήθελα να ξέρω να ράβω κάτι παραπάνω από ένα κουμπί. Δεν είχα όμως σκεφτεί ποτέ να πάω να μάθω.

Όταν πήγα να επιδιορθώσω δυο παντελόνια της δουλειάς, έμαθα κατά τύχη ότι η μοδίστρα παραδίδει μαθήματα. Είπα ότι θέλω να μάθω κι εγώ.

Ομολογώ ότι δεν το αποφάσισα αμέσως. Ήθελα οπωσδήποτε να μάθω κάτι καινούριο και τόσο χρήσιμο και το κόστος ήταν μικρό και τα μαθήματα ήταν το Σάββατο. Το Σάββατο είναι γενικά μια βολική μέρα, αλλά  εγώ κάποια Σάββατα δουλεύω. Δεν ήθελα να χάνω μαθήματα.

Με προτροπή μιας φίλης (και ενώ ετοιμαζόμουν με θλίψη να εγκαταλείψω την ιδέα) το συζήτησα με τη - τότε-  μέλλουσα δασκάλα μου και βρήκαμε μια λύση.

Σε λίγο θα κλείσω δύο μήνες μαθημάτων και ήδη κάνω προόδους.

Σε αυτή την ενότητα θα σας παρουσιάσω τι έχω κάνει μέχρι τώρα και θα βάζω και ότι νέο δημιουργώ.

Πρόσφατα μου χάρισαν τη ραπτομηχανή της δεύτερης φωτογραφίας και νιώθω ευγνώμων!! Δεν ξέρω πόσες φορές έχω προσφέρει τις ευχαριστίες μου, αλλά νιώθω ότι δεν είναι αρκετές!!!

My first sewing machine!!!!

I always thought I would like to know how to sew something more than a button. I had never thought to go somewhere I could learn.

When I took two work trousers for repair, I was informed accidentally that the seamstress gives lessons. I said that I wanted to learn too.

I confess, I did not decide it right away. I definitely wanted to learn something new and that useful,  and the cost was pretty low and the lessons were on Saturday. Saturday is generally a convenient day, but sometimes I work on Saturdays. I did not want to miss classes.

Following the urge of a friend (and when I was about to abandon the idea sadly)  I discussed it with my -then - future teacher and worked out a solution.

I am about to complete two months of lessons and I am already making progress.

In this section I will demonstrate you what I have done so far and I will add everything new I create.

Recently I was given as a gift the sewing machine of the second photo and I feel greatful for it!! I don't even know how many times I have offered my thanks, yet I feel they are not enough!!!
